(The span of the balcony is close to 7m)<\/p>\n<p>So I built a better one. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Went from this:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Old and broken\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/-sxG_fJJ8gLM\/T0hnA3qkplI\/AAAAAAAADxc\/D_ZMto9HHI8\/s512\/IMG_20120212_174250.jpg\" alt=\"Old and broken\" width=\"384\" height=\"512\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To this:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"New hotness\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/-BKEuE0o3zIE\/T0hoBbWJqCI\/AAAAAAAAD2c\/7zsxRd8cHV8\/s640\/IMG_20120225_152101.jpg\" alt=\"New hotness\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It&#8217;s got a simple pulley system so it can be raised or lowered as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>The rigid curtain rods stop anything from sagging or needing to be retensioned.<\/li>\n<li>Total hanging space goes from ~12m to ~15m.<\/li>\n<li>When &#8216;up&#8217;, the clothes are out of the way.<\/li>\n<li>Assisted drying!
