And in miserable weather, too.<br \/>\nThanks to my wife for doing all the planting, and to my mum for helping with construction and supplying much of the materials as a &#8216;lots of assembly required&#8217; Christmas present.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s a BIG balcony-mounted garden box.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mindbleach.com\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/wpid-IMG_20130128_162419.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"IMG_20130128_162419.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mindbleach.com\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/wpid-IMG_20130128_162419.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Herbs, lettuces, and a chilli plant. All set and ready to grow.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mindbleach.com\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/wpid-IMG_20130127_172339.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"IMG_20130127_172339.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mindbleach.com\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/wpid-IMG_20130127_172339.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sturdily anchored to the support posts, let&#8217;s hope it won&#8217;t fall down.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mindbleach.com\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/wpid-IMG_20130127_172315.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"IMG_20130127_172315.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mindbleach.com\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/wpid-IMG_20130127_172315.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>1.9 m wide, and built out of treated pine. Note the straps underneath to stop the planters from falling through. (Nobody wants that landing on their head) Also, the EIGHT retaining straps (3mm gal steel) anchoring it to the wall.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mindbleach.com\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/wpid-IMG_20130128_184829.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"IMG_20130128_184829.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mindbleach.com\/words\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/wpid-IMG_20130128_184829.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re enjoying the otherwise miserable weather we&#8217;re having!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Finished another thing!
